Welcome Downton Abbey to the big screen on September 20th by attending this special tea beforehand! As part of the plot, King George V will honor the residents of Downton with his presence, so Caroline has devised a menu to reflect his particular tastes. Her menu includes Potted Salmon on Toast, Egg and Cress Tea Sandwiches, and Mini Yorkshire Puddings with Beef as the savories. Buttery Traditional Scones will be served with Clotted Cream and Banana Jelly, a favorite of the time. The sweets include Bakewell Tarts, jam, frangipane and icing pastries, and a showpiece Dundee Cake, an almond-studded tea cake, both beloved English treats. Proper tea will be served in family heirloom teacups and Caroline will offer etiquette trivia, Downton gossip, and a commonwealth of historical lore.  Won’t you be our guest at this royal occasion? $60
